Display of five bottles of Twisted Tea hard iced tea with different flavors, including raspberry, light, original, half & half, and peach, against a blue background with advertisements and illustrations about the product.
  • During a period of early stagnant growth, The Boston Beer Company (makers of Samuel Adams Boston Lager) needed some help on their Twisted Tea® hard iced tea line of products. As part of a complete brand evaluation, product repositioning & packaging redesign, creative explorations were created for targeted focus groups, and then design campaigns executed based on audience feedback.

The repositioning was a huge success by connecting & expanding to new target markets. At $1 billion in annual revenue, Twisted Tea has become the #1 selling flavored malt beverage in the world, and outsells their flagship Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Arrangement of tequila bottles with a colorful label featuring a mountain peak and the text "Legend of the Milagro" in Spanish, a large image of the tequila bottle, and a promotional sign asking "Do You Believe in Miracles?" with the website milagrot
  • Founded by two college best friends from Mexico City, Milagro Tequila needed help to create & execute a brand strategy that would introduce the new tequila to the United States. The strategy included alternative promotions at the grass roots level, as well as, more traditional vehicles including: print advertising, website, in-store POP and sales materials, plus all product photography was done in-house.

At the heart of the introductory campaign was a fictitious, yet playful brand story around the name itself “Leyenda del Milagro” which translates to “Legend of the Miracle”. The brand quickly caught on in the U.S. and was acquired by William Grant & Sons. Milagro Tequila is currently the 10th best selling tequila brand in the world.

  • As the Design Director at the heralded 50 year old niche manufacturer of some of the most well-reviewed & awarded audiophile loudspeakers in history, I was tasked with a company makeover due to an outdated brand.

Focus areas included a complete new brand identity system, the design of a new loudspeaker studio collection called Mercury, and pretty much everything else in regards to the print & digital assets.

Working closely with an invigorated sales & marketing lead, the makeover has been transformational— changing the brand from your father’s old Cadillac Coupe de Ville to an exciting modern-day Aston Martin Vanquish. The effort has expanded the brand in the overall marketplace spurring on a sales surge, and attracted new investment.

  • Faced with an aging member network and a cooled real estate market, finding slow steady growth outside of these areas became a key objective. One target area where this made sense was to focus on the youth market by invigorating our “First Tracks Youth Program” with a lively new & engaging mascot.

While still in its infancy, I developed high resolution techniques utilizing late 2024/early 2025 Ai image generation engines. The resulting “Freddy the Yeti” character was born as part of a complete brand-engulfing campaign in the form of digital graphics & video, life-size 7 ft. tall in-branch cutouts, the development of a real person mascot program, etc.

Feddy the Yeti became so quickly beloved by the local community, that he has grown to not only represent the youth program, but also a driver of the overarching family-friendly brand for the entire credit union. In 2026, the Freddy campaign won the prestigious Diamond Award.

Collection of CBD wellness products including bottles of capsules, cooling lotion, wellness gummies, balm, pets salmon oil, and cooling salve, arranged on a surface.
  • As one of the early leaders in the cannabinoid space, the Infinite CBD brand had not significantly evolved in its 5+ years existence. With a changing demographic in a maturing marketplace, web analytics were used as a guide to dramatically update the brand to become less masculine, and hence more universally approachable. The product line itself was completely overhauled to become much more simplified & systematized.

Using a palette of friendly colors & fun iconography, the packaging was redesigned to be more welcoming, readable & easily understandable for the brand’s aging target market. Themes were carried through into a new web presence that integrated both retail & wholesale businesses in one site.
